The Short Version
When you buy a plugin from me, you get to use it on up to 2 computers for any projects you want. Don't share your license key, don't pirate it, don't try to reverse-engineer it. Not sure if it's right for you? Try it free for 14 days first.
That's basically it. The rest of this page is the detailed version for people who need it.
Early Access / Launch Pricing
SoftVox is in active development. You're getting launch pricing because you're an early adopter. The plugin is fully functional, but I'm still collecting feedback and adding features based on real-world use. All improvements are included free.
What You Can Do With Your License
- ✓ Install on up to 2 computers (desktop, laptop, whatever)
- ✓ Use for personal or commercial projects—make music, make money, no restrictions
- ✓ Use on unlimited projects and recordings
- ✓ Keep and use all updates forever (within the same major version)
How Licensing Works
How Your License Knows Your Computers
When you enter your license key, the plugin automatically registers your computer. No serial numbers to copy, no manual activation—it just works. You can use the plugin on up to 2 machines at a time.
Need to move to a new computer? You can deactivate machines from your account at any time.
The Weekly Check-In
The plugin checks in with our servers every 7 days to verify your license. This happens automatically in the background—you won't notice it.
This helps prevent license sharing while keeping things simple for legitimate users.
Working Offline
No internet for a while? No problem. The plugin works offline for up to 7 days after the last successful validation. Perfect for studio sessions or travel. Just connect to the internet occasionally and you're good.
What You Can't Do
- ✗ Don't share your license key. One purchase = one person. If your friend wants it, send them the link.
- ✗ Don't pirate it. Sharing cracked versions, license generators, or "free download" links is not cool.
- ✗ Don't reverse-engineer it. No decompiling, disassembling, or trying to steal the code.
- ✗ Don't remove copyright notices. The branding stays.
If you violate these, I'll deactivate your license. Don't make this weird.
Payment & Delivery
How Payment Works
I use Stripe for payments—your card details never touch my servers. Prices are in USD and may change over time, but your purchase price is locked in once you buy.
By purchasing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
Instant Delivery
After payment, you'll be redirected to download your plugin immediately. A backup download link is also sent to your email. Having trouble? Reach out.
14-Day Free Trial
Every product includes a 14-day free trial with full functionality. Try it in your real workflow before you buy. No credit card required.
Since you can try everything free first, refunds after purchase are handled on a case-by-case basis for genuine issues.

Updates & Support
Free Updates
You get free updates for the current major version (e.g., v1.0 → v1.9). If I release a major version (e.g., v2.0), that might cost extra. But I'm not planning on that anytime soon.
Email Support
I answer support emails personally. I usually respond within 24-48 hours, but I don't guarantee specific response times. Support is in English only.
Check System Requirements First
Make sure your system meets the requirements before you buy. They're listed on the product page. I can't refund you just because your setup doesn't meet the specs.
That said, if there's a bug or compatibility issue on my end, I'll fix it or refund you.
Who Owns What
I own the plugin. The software, code, graphics, and branding belong to Arctic Labs Audio. You're buying a license to use it, not the plugin itself.
You own your music. Anything you create with the plugin is 100% yours. Sell it, stream it, license it—do whatever you want.
The Legal Disclaimers
No Warranties
I've tested this extensively on different systems and DAWs, but audio software is complicated—every setup is different. I can't guarantee it'll work perfectly in every situation.
The legal version (because lawyers): Arctic Labs Audio provides this software "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
If something goes wrong—your session crashes, you lose data, whatever—I'm not responsible for indirect damages. The most you can recover is what you paid for the plugin.
Specifically, I'm not liable for:
- • Lost profits or revenue
- • Lost or corrupted data
- • Project delays or missed deadlines
- • Damage to other software or hardware
- • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the plugin. This is standard legal protection—I'm not trying to screw anyone over.
License Revocation
If You Violate These Terms
If you share your license key, crack the plugin, or do other sketchy stuff, I'll deactivate your license. No refund. Don't make me do this—I'd rather spend time building plugins than dealing with piracy.
On Refund
If you receive a refund, your license is automatically revoked. The plugin will stop working within 7 days (the next time it validates online).
Changes to These Terms
I might update these terms occasionally. If I do, I'll note the date at the top. Major changes will be communicated via email. By keeping the plugin installed and using it, you're agreeing to the updated terms.
